The race day cell phone number is (703) 615-3550. Call to hear about race cancelations.

Free hot chocolate and chicken soup will be provided in the heated community tent to all attendees.

No unattached racer fees will be charged.

In the truest spirit of amateur racing, no prizes will be awarded.

Course

All USCF road race rules apply. No free lap during any race may be taken.

The clockwise course [google, mapquest] is a 1.22 mile (2 km) "D" shaped circuit with two 90 degree corners, all on excellent road surfaces. The last corner is 200 yards from the finish line.

Race numbers are pinned to racers' right side.

There are plenty of safe roads to warm up and cool down on. Plus, if you'd like to supplement your training log on race day with some additional base miles, get the riding directions to the course.

Registration

All event registration for each weekends' racing will occur on race day, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Juniors racing the C race get free entry - everyone else is $10.

Because this is one of the first racing events of the year, make sure your license is up-to-date by either purchasing or renewing your annual membership online at USA Cycling today!

Registration opens at 10:00 AM and closes 15 minutes prior to the start of each race.

Directions

Either take Route 7 and turn south onto Route 28 or take Route 50, Route 66, or the Dulles Toll Road and turn north onto Route 28. From there, turn west onto Route 606 (Old Ox Road) and continue for 3 miles. Turn right into the Mercure Business Park and follow the signs to the parking areas.

If you'd like to supplement your training log on race day with some additional base miles, the course is easy to ride to. From the W & OD trail in Sterling, turn south onto Crestview Drive, next to the Herndon Centennial Golf Course. Turn right onto the Herndon Parkway after only 100 yards. Ride on the Herndon Parkway for 1/4 mile and then turn right at the first traffic light onto Route 606 (Sterling Road). Continue for 1 1/2 miles until Route 28, and then it's just another 3 miles (see above) to the course.
